Despite being called Alice Senki 2, this game just feels like the polished and finished version of Alice Senki vanilla (2003). This was released and developed by Yume no Tsuzuki (夢の続き) on a comiket more than a decade ago, in the golden ages of doujin soft fighting games. It includes 17 characters created by Alice Soft, thus the name of the game.

Alice Senki 2 is a 2D fighting game for PC only available in Japan published by Yumeno Tsuzuki on the 28th of December, 2008. It is the sequel of the 2003 game of the same name, and is a crossover fighter featuring 17 different characters from the Alicesoft games, such as the Rance Series, Escalayer, Dai Series, etc. It plays like a traditional fighting game with the fighters using combos, air dash and Special attacks, some of which summon other characters from their series. It has two game modes, a classic 1 player storyline mode with ending CG and a 2 player versus mode.

Most game features are borrowed from older games, especially from Guilty Gear series: ABC chain combos, roman cancels, air recoveries and alike. If you are familiarized with the term "air dasher" you can easily call this game like that, despite only having a few characters that can actually do an air dash. The game is much slower though, that means you can focus on your strategic plan rather than relying too much on your reflexes. It also features a lot of defensive options, making rush down tactics not as effective as in similar games. All character playstyles are covered, and many characters have very long ranged normals.
